Import records and export workspace data

Paste customer or job CSV rows, review row-level issues before committing them, and choose the right export for the data you need.

Complete the task

Follow these steps

  1. Choose the record type

    Open Customers or Jobs and choose Import CSV. Keep customer and job rows separate so each importer receives the headings it expects.

  2. Review the rows

    Paste the CSV rows and choose Review import. Check the valid, error and warning totals, then read each row-level issue before continuing.

  3. Commit the clean import

    Correct errors in the source CSV, paste the revised rows and choose Commit clean import only when the validation result is correct. Review the resulting list afterwards.

  4. Use the appropriate export

    Choose Export CSV from Customers for the customer list. For a broader machine-readable workspace export, use Settings, then Privacy and data.
